In 1971, the U.S. Congress declared that “wild free-roaming horses and burros are living symbols of the historic and pioneer spirit of the West; and that they contribute to the diversity of life forms within the Nation and enrich the lives of the American people.” Cindy Lee and the Wags & Menace Make a Difference Foundation agree, and have made a valiant effort to help save thousands of wild mustangs, horses, and burros. Passionate about continuing to support their medical care, the Foundation also provides funds to transport the animals to sanctuaries when necessary and donates blankets and extensive food supplies to keep them warm and well-nourished in winter.
